sudler-sothebys-logo04 September 2009 ? As the clock is ticking for buyers to get a property under contract and close before December 1, 2009, the National Association of Realtors® is lobbying on behalf of their million plus members to get the $8,000 first time home buyer tax credit extended. They have a contest going: The REALTOR® who submits the winning three-minute video (or less) that makes the case in your own words why we need to expand and extend the Home Buyer Tax Credit will receive a $500 American Express gift card and 2 runner ups a flip cam. The extension of the credit has the support of Senator Dick Durbin from Illinois although it has been predicted that there would not be an extension of the credit.
