The federal government has released their stress test results. They report that most big banks need more liquidity and reserves. The banks are responding, to my surprise, by announcing plans to meet those numbers and raise capital. The US shed the fewest jobs in 6 months, as unemployment numbers show fewer losses than expected. In non-economic Chicago news, the Blackhawks have tied the playoff series 2-2.
